Linda was born in Port Elizabeth and matriculated at Holy Rosary Convent.
Her formal training includes a H Dip FA PE Technikon (Now NMMU) - a Higher Diploma in Fine Art (painting) at the Port Elizabeth Technikon, where her main teacher was Neil Rodger; a BA from Unisa - she completed her BA, majoring in History and History of Art; and a PG Dip UWC - Post Graduate Diploma in Museum and Heritage Studies.
After completing her studies and while in Port Elizabeth, she did paintings on commission and taught painting and drawing at the Technical College classes for adults and from home.
After moving to Cape Town she joined and exhibited with various art societies and served on committees.
She loves nature, especially the mountains and indigenous flora. She is also fascinated by history and old things.
Linda enjoys painting still lifes of classic everyday objects. She also likes painting the many moods of the local mountains. When on plein air outings or travelling, she likes to do spontaneous pen and watercolour sketches.
