Rouvé qualified and worked as an Occupational Therapist, and after raising a family, studied Fine Arts through Unisa, which she completed up to third year.
Ever since living in the Overstrand for almost 25 years, she has become a fulltime artist. She enjoys regular interaction with fellow artists in the area, and regularly participates in group exhibitions.
Rouvé‘s work has evolved over the years. She has a unique abstract painting style, working in rich vibrant colors and contrasting mark making.
She works intuitively, and loves the open-endedness of abstract art, which allows the meaning and feeling behind the work to be in the eye of the beholder.
Her works are to be found in private collections in SA, Germany, USA, UK and Norway.
